How to Succeed in your Online Class

Online classes can sometimes be a challenge because there is no set schedule, set environment and forced class participation. Below are few quick ideas on how to succeed in your online class

Treat it like you are taking a normal class.

Go to class- set a specific time each day that you will dedicate a little time to the class. Go to class physically and mentally. You can do this by finding a quiet, well lit place to study that is free from distractions to enable you to focus on the class and material at hand.

Participate- Just like in a real class, you get out of the class what effort and time and commitment that you put into learning the material. Ask questions and participate in the forums or processes that the teachers have created to help you succeed. Interact with the teacher and interact with the other students.

Stay motivated- Read the course requirements, read the assigned material, and stay motivated by setting goals to work towards and accomplishing them. Connect with the other students and the instructor to help you stay motivated and stay on course.
